Electronic signature: compliance with the European eIDAS regulation in France - Lexis Nexis

6.1.2023

We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest article entitled “Value added tax - Electronic signature: compliance with the European eIDAS regulation”.

Written by Thomas Le Boucher, partner lawyer and co-founder of Cyplom Avocat, this article offers a quick overview of the changes made by Decree No. 2023-377 of May 16, 2023.

The article, published in Tax Law No. 22-23, June 1, 2023, Act 181, points out that although these changes are welcome, they remain limited due to the direct application of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014. Thomas Le Boucher explains that this update does not affect the ability of a two- or three-star RGS electronic signature to guarantee the authenticity of the origin and the integrity of the content of the electronic invoices.
